Tupelo-Schneck Wedding, Saturday the 6th of October 2007

(photo) Where to stay

We would love to have our guests staying at Twin Oaks. There are a limited number of rooms available. Please contact us soon if you want to arrange a room!

There is plenty of camping space available on Twin Oaks land.

We encourage you to stay for a few days around the time of the wedding---we have the Twin Oaks visitor cabin reserved from Friday October 5th until Wednesday October 10th, and would love to have it filled with family and friends!

(photo) Hotels, etc.

We know about a couple of bed-and-breakfasts in Louisa which come recommended:

Ginger Hill Bed & Breakfast
47 Holly Drive, Louisa Virginia
540-967-3260

Ginger Hill has two rooms available at $85 and $100 per night. Each room has a single large bed.

Whistle Stop Bed and Breakfast
318 W. Main Street, Louisa, Virginia
540-967-0938

They have 5 rooms priced from $65-$80 per night. One room has twin beds, one room with a full bed and three rooms with queen-sized beds and varying bathroom facilities.

Other hotels and motels are around 30 minutes drive away, at the eastern end of Charlottesville or the western end of Richmond. Some web searching revealed a Ramada Inn (it comes recommended by Thea's people) and a Comfort Inn near I-64 exit 124 (US-250) in Charlottesville.
